NJ Laser Tech at the 3rd Shanghai International Light Festival | Geometry of Light
SHANGHAI INTERNATIONAL LIGHT FESTIVAL
Three Years of Exploring Light, Physics and Art
The 3rd Shanghai International Light Festival has officially opened, and Xi’an NJ Laser Tech Co., Ltd. (NJ Laser Tech) is proud to participate once again. This marks our third consecutive appearance at the festival, continuing our exploration of how laser technology, physics and art can come together to create new visual experiences.

This Year: A New Exploration of Light and Geometry
For our third participation, NJ Laser Tech continues to explore the relationship between light, space and perception. Each edition of the festival has allowed us to approach laser technology from a different perspective, expanding its role beyond equipment and performance into artistic and public visual experiences.
First Edition – “Realm of Sand”
At the first Shanghai International Light Festival, NJ Laser Tech presented “Realm of Sand.” Using fine sand as a natural medium, the installation applied the light-scattering effect of airborne particles to make normally invisible laser beams visible in three-dimensional space.
The same principle can also be used in foggy environments, turning mist and airborne particles into a natural screen for creating aurora-like laser effects in the sky.
Second Edition – “See Your Breath”
At the second festival, we presented “See Your Breath,” which became a popular interactive installation.
Based on schlieren imaging technology, the work visualized normally invisible phenomena such as airflow, flame turbulence and physical reactions. Flames appeared with flowing light trails, while fan-generated airflow transformed into galaxy-like streams, allowing visitors to experience the hidden beauty of fluid movement through light and technology.

Three Festivals, Three Explorations of Light
From sand particles, to invisible airflow, and now to light and geometry, NJ Laser Tech has used three editions of the Shanghai International Light Festival to explore different possibilities of light.
As a professional laser light manufacturer and laser show system provider, NJ Laser Tech not only develops laser products and systems, but also continues to explore how laser technology can be integrated with public art, architectural lighting, cultural tourism, landscape lighting and large-scale laser shows.
For three consecutive editions, we have used technology to support artistic creation and explore the relationship between light, physics and space.
Technology empowers art. Light illuminates the future.
We look forward to bringing innovative laser technology and light art from China to more projects and international stages around the world.
